When I work with my seniors, I discuss what type of vibe/feel they want from their photos. Sofia wanted Georgetown in fall and that's what she got. It was chilly but you'd never know it from her beautiful photos. Don't settle for cookie-cutter photoshotos!

My asthma has kept me home during this cold weather so I have been going through older photos. I miss the mountains.

Today we met with one of the students who was verbally assaulted at the Jan 25 SB meeting to give her a care package. We were amazed with how the #LoudounCounty community rallied to show her support. Tune in this evening on Channel 7 at 6pm for the story. #Loudoun4All

I took some time to get to Shenandoah yesterday for the sunrise. While the sunrise wasn't anything special it is always beautiful to see how the sun lights up the mountains. No color adjustment needed.

Sometimes you hit it out of the park

I had such a wonderful time connecting with my friend Dalia Zabala from our saoco salsa dancing days. I feel honored that she asked me to capture their first family photos. We had lovely weather and fall colors.

Some fall scenes that I captured while out taking portraits. Some were taking during the height of the day but the colors were so beautiful I had to capture them. Various places around Virginia/Shenandoah.

I recently attended a portrait shootout with Sue Bryce Photographer in Phoenix. While I was very nervous about going - I was sure to keep myself safe and always wore a mask. I missed out on socializing but being able to be in Arizona nature, Sedona rocks, and then the portrait event was wonderful. Here are just a few images from my time in Arizona.

It’s fall but I’m still hooked on sunflowers with my VIPs.

When Alanaowlet and I talked about getting together to shoot, she mentioned Howl’s Moving Castle. I looked it up and realized I had never seen it. Since then, I have been told numerous times to watch it. It looks beautiful.

I did research and found clips from it and made sure to include some similar images. I even made my own flame. Sure, they aren’t exact but they are in the spirit of it. That’s my goal when shooting cosplay - have the photos make sense with the character. I added some of the images from the movie so you can compare.

This beautiful soul hired me for her birthday again this year. We changed it up and went to Black Lives Matter Plaza (which was under construction and we didn’t realize) We shifted gears and worked across the street. She had a vision and she is in love with the photos.
